CX 3500 Easy program and maintenance guide.
The CX series cash register by Uniwell uses electronic mode key programming and switching between
functions, ie REG, X, Z etc.
The cash register will arrive pre programmed with default settings for the Australian market, in the event a
FULL MEMORY RESET (RAM) reset is required a base install file can be supplied and will require a serial cable
and software. Please contact your reseller for assistance.
Unpack register, install back up battery inside the clip lock cover found in the underside of the register. Allow
cash register to charge overnight before using in the field.
Plug power cord into mains outlet and turn register on, switch is found on right side of register towards the
front.
CHARACTER ENTRY
1. Set date and time
I. Begin procedure from Register mode ( normal sales mode )
II. Press ‘SHIFT’ key then ‘CASH’
III. Press ‘R/A’ or ‘P/O’ to scroll up to PRG MODE
IV. Press ‘CASH’
V. Press ‘P/O’ and scroll down to 14 – Set Date
VI. Press ‘#/NS’
VII. Use numeric keypad to enter date in the following format DD MM YY eg. 30 07 11
VIII. Press ‘CASH’ then ‘#/NS’
IX. Repeat Step IV VII. This time scroll down to 15
X. Set Time in 24 hr time ie time = 4.44pm
